Hello ladies,
After seeing Burlesque Chair Dance classes advertised on Facebook, I dragged my mum along to one of the classes and just under a year later we rarely miss a class.
At first, we had no idea what to expect and just focused on the fitness aspect, now however we use it as more of a weekly therapy session. Just an hour to forget about everything and have fun with our little burlesque family. Both of us have grown in confidence and love going to classes.
During one of the first classes my instructor mentioned that there was an instructor course and I immediately thought ‘yes I can do that!’
So, in March 2019 I went for the instructor course, and with a lot of hard work and determination (and calming my instructor down since she was more nervous than me) I passed!!
I can’t wait to see what the ladies of Derbyshire have to offer, so watch this space.
