Hi, I’m Bella Lacey.
I moved to Salisbury 5 years ago, not long after having my second child. I didn’t know many people at all & like a lot of women after having children, my body confidence took quite a nose-dive & I no longer felt like “me”. I decided I had to do something about it. I have always loved the beauty of burlesque so was thrilled to find a BCD class. The following week, I nervously took the 40-minute drive alone to the Warminster class. After that very first class, I was hooked. I went home not wanting to wait a whole week for the next class. The ladies were so welcoming & friendly & it was utterly refreshing to see such a mixture of women in age, size & ability. My confidence grew, I made lots of new friends & I actually felt part of something again.
I attended the class for around 18 months when unfortunately, our instructor developed a long-term injury & had to put her class on hold.
I was gutted. As time went on, I missed burlesque class more & more. When I saw the advert for the first southern instructor course, my eyes lit up & I knew I would regret it if I didn’t go for it.
So here I am now, about to embark on my new journey as a BCD instructor. I hope to bring the same love, enthusiasm & fitness to ladies in the area that I felt when I attended class.
Classes start on Thursday 13th February 2020 at The Bowman Centre, Shears Drive, Amesbury SP4 7XT, 7.30-8.30pm,
I cannot wait to meet you all,
Bella Lacey xx
