So I want to take this opportunity to celebrate the Women in my life the amazing Sassy Steelers.
The bulk of these wonderul ladies have only been dancing with me a year at the most, they all slumped into class quiet and not quite knowing what to expect all in hoodies and leggings – well all apart from one who stripped near enough as soon as she walked through the door ;). These ladies are now in hot pants and fishnets and have become quiet the little family.
2017 was an amazing year for us, we did 5 shows throughout the year and each time the ladies blew me away with how amazing they were – one event people actually commented that they thought they were professional dancers and did it for a living!! These ladies just do 1-2 hours a week at Burlesque Chair Dance classes!
My ladies are the definition of Burlesque Chair Dance and what we stand for! They build each other up, the support and genuine respect and care for each other is amazing to see. Their confidence has grown so much and I cannot wait to see what happens in 2018!
While I am talking about my Sassy Steelers, this year we lost one of our Original Girls and had to say a big goodbye to our Enchantress as she left to go back to Canada! It was a big blow for us as she was very much a part of our family and we Miss her very much but wish her all the best!
2018 is the year of the woman… and luckily for me I am surrounded by amazing, beautiful, funny, talented and just out of this world women, that i cannot wait to show off at various events throughout the year.
This year we don’t only have the Sassy Steelers to show off but we have the Malin Madames too 😉
To keep up with what we are doing keep an eye out for updates on the BCD page!!
